Starting on Monday, October 27, 2025, join us for the first of eight weekly virtual group counselling sessions for Veterans and Veteran-connected family members impacted by a loved one’s substance use.

Eggshells is a free, national, virtual mental health program offering confidential support to Veterans and Veteran Families in Canada impacted by a loved ones’ substance use.

The group includes a total of 22 clinical care hours in a safe and confidential virtual setting. As a group, with specialized counsellors, you will explore the impact of substance use on family dynamics, trauma, and the nervous system, understanding substance use from a neurological perspective, establishing healthy boundaries and effective communication, practicing self-care, and recognizing the importance of ongoing family support and community engagement.

   2. Monday, November 3, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET

   4. Monday, November 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET
   5. Monday, November 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET
   6. Monday, December 1, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET
   7. Monday, December 8, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET
   8. Monday, December 15, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET

Following the clinical hours, you will receive an additional 16 hours of counsellor-facilitated virtual peer support to address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual impacts of present and generational trauma arising from substance use.
