A Trusted, Confidential Resource

Veterans and Veteran Families often fear stigma and hesitate to reach for help. Referrals from professionals – counsellors, social workers, medical practitioners, clergy, community leaders or other professionals can help families overcome their fears and encourage them to receive care. Eggshells ensures:

Confidential Participation – their privacy is always protected and information is retained on a secure, encrypted, PHIPA-compliant platform in Canada.
Specialized Clinical Team – experts trained in trauma, substance use, and Veteran Family experiences.
No VAC Referral Required – families can self-refer or connect directly through your recommendation.
How We Collaborate

Streamlined Referral and Ongoing Communication

We aim to make the referral process simple and effective:

  1. Introduce Eggshells – provide families with our contact information or website link.
  2. Family Connects – either they or you will fill out the Contact Us form, and our Program Coordinator follows up.
  3. Ongoing Updates – with the family’s consent, our team can keep you informed of their progress.
